Mit dem grünen BMW 520 von Rui und dem braunen BMW 520 von Daniel fuhren wir von Lissabon nach Vendas Novas. Hier befindet sich heute noch das Fertigungswerk, jedoch werden dort schon lange keine BMWs montiert. Auf der Rückseite des Geländes wurden die CKD per Bahn angeliefert. Das Wetter zeigte sich - für Portugal untypisch - sehr regnerisch. In Vendas Novas gabs abschließend ein leckeres Mahl, bevor es nach Lissabon zurück ging.
We drove with the green BMW 520 of Rui and the brown BMW 520 of Daniel from Lisboa to Vendas Novas. The assembling plant still exists there, but today they don't build BMWs anymore. At the backside of the plant the CKDs were delivered by train. The weather was very rainy, not typical for Portugal. In the city of Vendas Novas we had lunch before we returned to Lisboa.
